The aim of West Park’s College Ministry is to help college & career young adults (18-29) love God, love people and impact the world.
We gather on Sunday nights, 7:00pm-9:30pm, to share a meal & talk about how to apply God’s Word to our lives. Contact us for more information on our Sunday night gathering!
College Impact
We believe that college students have great potential for impact, and we think this is best done through serving the church, the community, and the world.
At West Park – many of our students enjoy serving right “at home.” Some of the best places for college-aged people to serve at West Park are in our children’s, middle school, high school, and worship ministries.
In Knoxville – we also provide opportunities to reach into the community. More details on this throughout the year.
Around the World – participating in local and global missions may be the most life changing opportunity afforded any college student. Each summer, our College Ministry serves with one of West Park’s missionaries to share the love of Christ with the world.
Other College Events
Spring Retreat – during the spring semester, we like to get away for a weekend to simply be together. We’ll head to a cabin in the mountains to relax, play, share, worship and grow. These weekends always prove to be a highlight of the year and a much-needed break.
Short-term mission trips – join us on a journey you will never forget. Spend time ministering on the frontlines, living among the “least of these” and seeing what God is doing outside of Knoxville, nationally and globally. STMTs are generally held in the spring and summer.
Activities – in addition to fall and spring retreats and mission trips, our calendar is packed with many weekly and monthly activities. We’re always looking for an excuse (Ultimate Frisbee, pool party, all-nighter, Christmas party) to hang out with one another.
