At West Park, we strive to make worship a lifestyle, not just a weekly event. This wholehearted worship is the basis for our experience on Sunday mornings. With our voices, our instruments, and our hearts, we give praise to our Lord for His unfailing love and grace. We desire to cultivate an environment where people personally encounter Jesus during corporate worship. We also believe this worship must flow out of a life filled with prayer and lived daily for the glory of God.
Worship Team
Choir
The choir is at the very core of the West Park worship ministry. It is made up of everyday people who have a song in their hearts and a desire to be part of leading God’s people in worship. They understand the power that comes when hundreds of voices are lifted in passionate worship to the King.
We gather each week to worship and work together; we also laugh, cry, pray, and grow together. We invite you to join us; there are no auditions. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Just come to the Welcome Center and you will be greeted and given instruction as to where to go for rehearsal.
Praise Team
The Praise Team Ministry is a selected group of vocalists who lead worship during Sunday morning services. At times, the Praise Team combines with the choir, orchestra, and Praise Band to travel to and minister at special venues upon request. All Praise Team members must be active members of the West Park Worship Choir.
Orchestra & Praise Band
The West Park Orchestra and Praise Band is a group of everyday people who are wonderfully skilled instrumentalists, have a heart for praise and worship, and are passionate about leading God’s people in worship. We meet each week from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. and rehearse with the West Park Worship Choir.
Media Team
More and more churches realize the power of technology during their worship services. West Park is no exception. We develop presentations, audio, and video to help make the Gospel come alive. We constantly expand and explore new avenues with which to share the Gospel of Jesus and reach out to people.
The Media Team provides visual and audio support to West Park services and activities. Associated areas include:
