- Joined West Park staff as an intern, 2013
- Previously served as an English writing teacher (2009-2013) in China
- Served as lead pastor to Beijing Baptist Church in Beijing, China (2007-2013)
Current Ministry
Pastor Joe Kappel currently oversees Community Groups. He is passionate about connecting people together to help each other know, love and follow Jesus. His ministry goal is to train and equip a multi-generational team of disciple-makers to love and shepherd the adult community of West Park Baptist. He values the brothers and sisters God has placed under his care, knowing that God treasures all his children, single, married, younger, or older.
