Day 5 – Psalm 84:1-4

1 How lovely is Your dwelling place,
O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.

3 Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young, at Your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house,
ever singing Your praise!

Prayer of Reflection:

“Abba Father, to You goes all praise and glory!  Thank you, for Your grace and infinite wisdom.  Thank you, for Your promise of an eternal home for all who hear and follow.  Thank you, for Your promise of one day being in Your presence for all eternity.  Father God, I do not deserve the rewards that You have promised; I fall short again, and again.  Yet, You love unconditionally and forgive again, and again.  You are the one true God, and I praise Your Holy name.  Amen!”

    What a blessing it is to know that for all of eternity we will reside with our Lord and God! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
