Cedar Bluff Schools Clean-Up Day
Come serve at Cedar Bluff Elementary & Middle for a community clean-up day. Grab the kids, friends, or a community group to serve together. We will need 20+ volunteers. This serving opportunity will be led by West Park to serve this school, to spruce up the school grounds, including trash pickup and washing of door windows.
When: April 1, 2023

Nature’s Cove Spruce Up
We will be partnering with CedarBrook and Nature’s Cove residents to spruce up for spring! Grab a community group, your family, or some friends to come out to meet the residents and help with general grounds clean up, outside door washing, and blowing off porches. It is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships with others in our surrounding community by serving alongside. This opportunity will need 25 volunteers of all ages.
When: April 22, 2023
Time: 11am-1pm (serving) and 1-2pm (gathering)

Dogwood Terrace Spruce Up
Let’s be good neighbors! What an opportunity to share community with those around us! West Park will lead a team of volunteers to spruce up for spring in several ways: planting, mulching, etc. Many hands make light work, so come serve with your community group, friends, or even your family! Approximately 30+ volunteers, ages 8 and up, are preferred.

Home Team Members
Are you interested in a serving opportunity that allows you to meet our Home Team Members? This serving opportunity allows you to serve those in our congregation who are no longer able to attend in a practical way. It is led by our Deacon Mercy Team and is based on individual needs, which includes things like power washing, flower planting, mulching, window washing, and gutter cleaning. This is a wonderful way for a family or friends to serve together!
When: May 6, 2023
Time: Between 9am-12pm (varies based on the individual being served)

Mobile Food Pantry at Nature’s Cove
Each Wednesday, CedarBrook Outreach, in partnership with West Park, hosts a mobile food pantry in the Nature’s Cove neighborhood. Come serve alongside us as we provide fresh food for the residents. We need people to hand out the food, talk with residents, as well as a few people who could drive the CedarBrook truck to pick up the food and deliver it to the neighborhood.
When: Every Wednesday
Time: 4pm-5pm (volunteers arrive at 3:45pm to set up)

Short-Term Tutors
We are desperately looking for volunteers to tutor school-aged internationals from 2nd grade up to high school. This would only be 1-2 hours per week. Training and materials are provided. The volunteer commitment would end in May. To sign up or for more information, use the buttons below.
