Where can I go and meet with God?

“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” Psalm 42:1-2 (NIV)

“When can I go and meet with God?” – I love this line of Psalm 42. As children of the King, we can meet with Him anytime we want. The real question is: will we? God so much desires us to be wholehearted worshipers. He desires us to meet with Him every day through devotion and prayer.

But will we? It’s up to us.  If your desire for fellowship with God is waning, ask Him to renew that desire within you, and then act on it by being in the Word and talking and listening to God in prayer. When we meet corporately, we are given the opportunity to worship and meet with God. Oh how he wants us to come ready to meet with Him.

Every day is an opportunity to engage in personal wholehearted worship of our Lord. This Sunday, you will have the opportunity to join with other believers in worship together. Will you?

When can I go and meet with God? The answer is twofold: right now and this Sunday!

See you in worship,
Pastor Doug
