Doug came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at the age of 7 during Vacation Bible School at Kennewick Baptist Church in Kennewick, Washington. He was baptized at the age of 14 and began sensing the Lord calling him to ministry shortly thereafter. Following a brief rebellious time after graduating high school, Doug met Kris and they began dating and serving the Lord together. It was during this time that God really began to shape the calling he had on their lives, and they have now served six churches over the last 30 plus years in ministry.
