kids sundays

Here at West Park, we teach The Gospel Project to kids ages six weeks old to 5th grade. This curriculum takes them through the Bible in chronological order from Genesis to Revelation in three years. We believe that this will build a firm foundation of our kids knowing God’s word and the Big Story of how God provided a way through Jesus Christ for all to be saved and reconciled to Himself.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We want every family—especially first-time visitors—to feel welcomed,
cared for, and confident when they arrive.

I'M NEW

Stop by our Welcome Desk in the Kids Center to say hello and get your children checked in! Because the safety of every child is one of our highest priorities, all children must be registered and checked in by a parent or guardian. If you're visiting for the first time, we encourage you to register in advance to make your first check-in quick, easy, and stress-free.

CLASSROOM SUPPORT

We want every child to feel welcomed, supported, and included. Please use the form below to let us know about any medical needs, disabilities, behavioral supports, or accommodations that will help us care for your child and create the best possible experience.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

We'd love for you to apply to serve with West Park Kids! By serving, you'll have the opportunity to invest in the next generation while helping create a safe and welcoming environment each week. To help protect every child in our care, all volunteers are required to complete a background check before serving.

NURSING ROOM

A private, quiet room is available on Sunday mornings for mothers of crying babies and those who are nursing. Located in the Nursery, the Nursing Room provides live video of the worship service, comfortable gliders, as well as a changing table.

kids wednesdays

On Wednesday evenings, kids ages 2 through 5th grade can be part of Awana, a fun and engaging discipleship program that helps children build a lifelong foundation of faith. Through Bible memorization, biblical teaching, games, and small-group discipleship, kids learn God's Word and how to apply it to their everyday lives. Centered on the Gospel and based on 2 Timothy 2:15, Awana encourages every child to grow in their relationship with Jesus and develop spiritual habits that last a lifetime.

Puggles enjoy playtime, songs, simple crafts, and snacks. Age-appropriate lessons are taught with colorful teaching cards, finger puppets, and music. Take-home cards will help parents reinforce what the Puggles learn. Parents must remain on campus if their child is enrolled in this class.

CUBBIES

3 Year Olds

Cubbies enjoy puppets, games, and scripture memorization. It’s never too early to hide God’s word in your heart. Parents are the key ingredients to this program as you help your child learn verses each week. Parents must remain on campus if their child is enrolled in this class.

SPARKS

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

Sparks enjoy game time, scripture memorization, council times, and service projects.

TRUTH & TRAINING

3rd – 5th Grade

In Truth & Training, you’ll find a closely-knit group of students who share a passion for growing in their daily walk with the Lord through the study of His Word, encouraging one another, and holding one another accountable.

baby dedication

Baby dedication is an opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their child in a Christ-centered home, pointing them to the hope of the gospel and the truth of God's Word. As a church family, we joyfully come alongside you in prayer, encouragement, and support as you seek to lead your child to know, love, and follow Jesus.
